"Brand: CoralView" Aquarium Light 2025 New Upgrade Aqua Knight A029 3rd Generation 30 Watts Reef Light 2 Channels Control with Timer Sunrise Sunset Moonlight for Coral SPS LPS Fish Saltwater Nano Tank

What do you guys think about having 2 of these for each side of my 75 gal? As super budget friendly as I could get, 1 on each side, they have timers and Light settings, as well as sundown/sun up settings. They have the fans built in for cooling. Brackets are rust-resistant. If I can I will try to supplement them with my current Light bar if they are too dim but I doubt that. It says they go up to 24 inches in. I'm hoping they are sufficient, I need some blues in my life lol. Does royal blue, blue, cool white, and violet. My current light bar does cool white and greens.

I would be suspect on this light! Reading reviews says par readings wont support coral.
I read that but only 1 review says that, the rest of the reviews are people struggling with the programming or dont understand how the support bar works. Other then that they are pretty good.

30w isnt very much. I'd tend to agree with the post above.

Just keep in mind that unless specified those par readings given are most likely measured without water.

I have a 90g so a similar profile and currently have 2 kessil at 90w each. Before that black boxes at 165w each

You can probably grow softies and low light LPS maybe. Should get a par meter when installed. I would worry about the edges of the light more than center. The people vids that shows corals dont look great, lol. All of them very small tanks and corals in center of light. Just saying. The corals may survive under light but not show true colors, etc.

Par meter is a must with any light install. You can rent them! I bet you in center you get like 200 par and on edges under 70.. I suspect spread to be like 12 -16" you most likely will need 3 of them!

I just have a few zoas right now, cheap ones that cost $10-$20 each. And i have 1 $30 green star polyp coral. So nothing crazy. Just want the lights to supplement the current light bar. Ill upgrade to 1 or 2 prime reef lights when taxes come in, and sell off the other lights. This is what i want eventually....

If you use it you can't return it.. you better ask that first!. I know once you usually open and use a light they will not return it! Just saying. Read return policy can't be used or opened.. most electronics like that!

I get it! Always look for Open box. I got my Radon XR30 G6 for $390 on BRS. Box was opened and box a bit damaged.

Those a1 primes are around $360 each brand new with light and stand each. They are currently being used in my LFS and they showed me how they work. So most likely will go with those. dang they looked so good lol.

I have a 12" tall 2'x3' tank and i have 2 kessil a360x and an ATI straton 102 in between them all used in conjunction.

The Kessils without the 55* reflectors were giving me maybe 150 PAR on the bottom and not across the whole bottom, but just in central spots. The 55** reflectors increase it significantly, but then darken it around the edges.

So imagine 60w less...with water. 😉

P.S. if you ever smoke a power supply which just happened to me at the 2 year mark, you can get them for like 18 bucks on amazon. Mine will be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how it works if interested. For 18 bucks keeping a spare is very affordable. While not particularly the best performers, I love my kessils. I think they are the best looking light on the market.

Hopefully by the time taxes come around....tons of people will be offloading old reef lights around my general area lol. Plus everything usually goes on sale around that time.
I'm sure something nice will pop up for you well before then.
The seller was actually honest with me. I canceled my order with them. They told me only from the light itself, not with water.
