I was looking around my garage and found this light that we used to use for night fishing. It holds two 9" t5 bulbs and has a 3 position side switch to work both lights (one of the original lights was a black light used to see fluorescent fishing line). My question is: would it be possible to make this to where both lights would come on at the same time? I have no knowledge of wiring, soldering, etc. but I have access to a soldering gun if need be. I have been looking for a light to use on a 5.5 gallon tank I have sitting around and this might work both lights will come on at the same time.

I would be willing to bet the output of that to be very low compared to the t5ho we use on our tanks.

I turned it on with just the one white bulb and it put out a good amount of light. If it doesn't put out enough light with both bulbs, I'm still not out anything but time and my time isn't very valuable lol

The issue is, to the best of my knowledge, is that you can not get the right kind of bulbs for a saltwater tank in 9 inches.
