Will Two Dwarf Angelfish Get Along?

Currently have a flameback angelfish and considering a bluefin. Will it work out. I know LiveAquaria states "with caution." Like to hear real life. Oh, and it's a five foot 90 gallon tank. Thanks.

Generally the dwarf angels don't get along well with congener. Your size tank is around the minimum size people successfully attempting it in. It is best done with the two added simultaneously. Adding a new dwarf to an established one generally results in the death of one. It might work out.
I would recommend adding a female flameback rather than a different species. pairs work out long run far more often than two separate species.

I have a Lemonpeel, Flame & Coral Beauty in a 185gl with no issues. They were not added at same time but what I do when I add another fish to my tank is cover it with a blanket & turn off the lights until the morning of the next day. Seems to work really good.

Given that it's about the smallest size recommended for mixing them and one is already established I would say the odds are against successfully getting 2 to coexist. Flamebacks also tend to be one of the more aggressive pygmy angels so that doesn't help either.

I have 2 dwarf angels a Valentini Puffer n two different firefish n blenny inside my tank I do not have a reef tank fish only but they all do well together play chase each other puffer like queen she last one to bed n first one up

I have a flame angel and am dying for a potters angel, will settle for a flameback.
Yrs ago I had a dwarf, a rock beauty and a coral beauty all at once and I don't remember any fighting.
