I just scrubb it off with a small wire brush as I suck it out on water change day works pretty well to keep it under control

my xenia have crossed sand.. lept from 1 rock and crossd over to the next creating a gian chain
My new Xenia frag broke off the rock and went to the back of tank onto sand. Still light pulsing but looks very sad. Should I move it back to a rock or just left it do its thing?

I have had xenia let go of its rock and catch a ride in the current.
I second this.
They certainly can AND WILL jump ship so to speak.
I have noticed it when it outgrows whatever it is placed on and also just randomly when it is in sparse patches.
Definitely Something to monitor during weekly inspections.
