Fairly new reef tank, just a month old, has some white hairs, thanks for you help!

Nitrates were high and I did put in no3po4x, which I now realise may have been mistake - this could be relevant?

I wouldn’t put Nopox in a tank that new. You need nutrients in the system to build up your new biofilter. When the tank is new you’ll get all sorts of weird growth. I don’t know what the white stuff is. Maybe someone can chime in. #reefsquad?

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
