wiz's 7.5 rimless

I picked up this 7.5 deep blue rimless. I'm trying to put together the equipment to get it started. Funds are a bit tight as I already have a 40b with a 30l fuge and 20l sump. And we are trying to purchase a house. But I would love to have this on my nightstand so I can fall asleep watching my tank. :-) so here is the tank anf the light that came with it although I'm not sure I'm keeping this light. It doesn't fit properly.

excellent idea what is your plan for quieting...im not versed on todays powerheads I still use an airstone for my reef lol, are some of the external motor/magnetic xfer powerheads quiet nowadays? the only reason my tank isn't in bedroom is too loud

Quiet... i have two kids. What is. Quiet? Jk. But I was thinkin of masking the sounds with a waterfall. Love the sound of running water. :-)

my ex used to have that ocean machine cranked up all the way lol and I was thinking how much quieter the real thing would be in mini lol

Funny they would have that light paired up with that tank. What in the heck were they thinking?

I know right. The bulb fits across perfectly. But the fixture overhangs bad.
