That's the refugium coral... the lucky ones that didn't get experimented on.To me it looks like anthelia or pulsing xenia, not macro algae.
Yeah, I realized it and edited my answer but you were faster than me.That's the refugium coral... the lucky ones that didn't get experimented on.

One more optionAcually I don't think it's bryopsis.
It seems too big.
This stuff is quite big and branches.
I thought byprosis was smaller although larger than gha.
Almost like cheo? I have no experience with macro.
I hope so. It sucks having to identify algae. I had pink cotton candy algae, one time. It looked cool until it took over my tank. That could be it.
It doesn’t look very appetizing for sure. Does it seem to have grow really fast in those two weeks wondering how it spreads around the tank.I have no clue honestly. First time I've seen it. Im shure it's in there. I have a 5" sailfin and 5" foxface .
I grabbed the rock (frag rack) it's on because it was covered in gha and put it in the refugium when I started it a month ago.
So I'm assuming it's a bad thing and not a good cool macro?.
