Thanks @WWC. If you don't measure par in your tanks, when you give recommendations for low, medium, and high lighting for your corals, how do customers know how much par each of those refer to?
We are working on a video that will explain how we tackle lighting and show examples of how we handle par. But to answer your question until then, par is a recommendation. We have seen people that strictly stick to par settings that end up damaging their coral or ask why their coral is not colorful. The coral will let you know if it is happy or not and that is the main thing to pay attention to. You can start with the par recommendation, but adjust things if your coral are telling you it needs adjusting
