hey chris do yall use any type of refugium for nutrient export? Also, i remember a while back yall were using brightwells neomarine with good results, do u know why victor/lou stopped using the brightwells salt?

No refugium. Just spoke to Vic and we did use Brightwell for awhile, but because of costs we switched back to IO. We like both salts.

i see so u just use mainly water changes to reduce nitrates and replenish some trace elements?

AWESOME WWC I just hooked up the HDMI to my Laptop and watched it on my big screen... 3 times!!!!!!! Wow do I have to stop by and visit again. That was the sickest thing ever!

A great example of how easy reef keeping can be. Sometimes its just best to keep it simple. It sounds as if the 300 system is very simple and the results are absolutely amazing.
Can you give a little information on the reef such as lighting, skimmer and any other equipment being used?
