IT ALL STARTED...
...when I accidentally broke a couple of plates off one of my montis while cleaning the tank yesterday. Dang, time to break out the super glue. I don't even have my hands out of the water when along comes Glutton Pig (a foxface, if you couldn't guess) and commences to chow down on the glue, which of course is still wet. I succeed in chasing him off despite some resistance, but he's got a wad of glue stuck to his lips. I freak out and run for a fish net. But wait, how am I going to handle a fish with poisonous spines? No worries. I can't catch him anyway. He bolted into the depths of the rock work as soon as he saw the net. I can't even see where he went. Eventually he emerges, glue still hanging from his lips. Will he eat it and poison himself? Will it clog his gut? Will he glue his face to a rock? Will he glue his mouth shut? Nah, probably dried by now. After some time the glue has disappeared. Ate it for sure, pig that he is. In the meantime while I'm thinking this has to be the world's absolute dumbest fish (after all, none of his tank mates had any interest at all in the glue), my daughter, whiz-kid of the cell phone that she is, has looked this up. "Dad, clownfish eat reef glue, too." Go figure. So my foxface isn't necessarily the world's dumbest fish...just one of them.

They're not THAT poisonous. We catch a cousin here (picture below) when fishing and handle them all the time. Nickname "Happy Moments". They taste good too. :)

My clownfish almost got sucked into a tube when I was siphoning water out for a water change.
