Would You Buy Them?

I have a local guy selling two EchoTech MP10QDs. He’s asking $175 each but offered me both for $325. I come to find out this morning that they’re not Mobius ready, and he hasn’t disclosed when he bought them or for how long they’ve been in use. Just trying to get a sense if I’m making a wise move. Keep in mind the RF chips to upgrade them for Mobius are sold out at basically all reputable dealers. Also I already have one (Mobius ready) MP10 on my system. So I’m not super desperate to buy. I could use more flow and I figured the other one he has I can just use it’s wet side to swap in and out for cleanings. Thoughts?

If he's not willing to give you all the details I'd be more than a bit suspicious of them. I'd pass.
