It’s the white coral on top next to the power head for $25. I really want a migayi tort, but I think this frag is dying

Is the color of the picture just off? The Miyagi is the second from right on the top shelf (correct) and doesnt look white in this picture at all.

If its the one the blue arrow is pointing to i would NOT. Hard to tell but if its white as it looks thats not good. Now if it for sure as advertised and not dead i would offer 5$.

The one your arrow is pointing to MAY have been a Miyagi mounted on its side at one time, just maybe, but it has since joined its bretheren corals on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and now is merely a source of calcium and a place for algae to grow. Pass.

Where do you live? Do you have a local reef club? Miyagi tort is somewhat common and maybe a member near you would cut and sell you a frag. Better to get a healthy one from the get-go.

I doubt they would take $5 dollars for it, but its worth a try. I really want a miyagi

If you really want a tort I would reccomend looking online. You may have better chances of getting a healthy specimen.

If you know your tank can grow corals.. go for it. Seems like the neglected acros always turn around and grow much quicker once in a stable system. Those prices seem pretty reasonable, at least comparing to LFS around here.
