so I am finally getting around to plumbing my new project a 200 IM pen. that is going to be a FOWLR

I have the 40W pentair UV but plumbing it might be a pain so I thought i would have a convo here.
before i go through the hassle.

tank will be fish and CUC only. all QTed will run Ozone and large ATS and skimmer. so I was thinking the UV might not be all that useful on this tank. ( was running it for parasite control on the old RS 650P )

thoughts?
maybe I should sale it to fund a skimmer upgrade?
I know UV is kind of a hot topic in regrades to usefullness or not.

UV for parasite control is not a thing unless you use a giant unit. They work for clarity, however that specific unit will bust open at about 2 year mark.

i'll be using ozone for clarity. I have the one from BRS that everyone loves.

The 40 watt pentair sold like crazy due to the BRS videos that people take as gospel. Now people, Including myself, are finding out they deteriorate and split open at the 2 year or so mark. Check updated reviews.
