Of all the things I'm willing to take a risk on in my own daily life, I won't use expired aquarium products. I may have Advil that expired in 1993 and that's is A-OK to use...but not products, foods, additives etc that go in my tank LOL.

Thoughts?

Depends on the product. Some inorganic materials have expiration dates despite the material likely lasting longer than the packaging would.

If its test kits, I compare them to none expire test kits, if they are in reasonably same range and use them.
