Yeah, Ching does spend some serious $$$$ on fish. I really wish he would QT them, especially in light of his previous catastrophies, but he just doesnt want to. With fish like that, hes either got have deeper pockets than I think, or an iron testament, because gambling on the $$$ he spent is redonkulous.

His thread is too long to read LOL, what were his previous catastrophies?

How much did he shell out for these babies you think?

He just added fish, with no QT, and relied on "clean water" to prevent disease. Introduced velvet, and lost everyone fish but 1. Everything you see (with teh exception of his AWESOME Centropyge resplendens) has been purchased and added in the past 6 months or so.

Something else to think about, is, IN MY OPINION, he is over rushing. This tank isnt even a year old, and it looks like its been matured for 10. Corals are packed in tightly, and more are purchased and packed in again.

Just my humble opinion.

Had to have been several thousand. Getting one is a feat. No less three. He buys from Japan too (at least with those fish), so he paid an even higher premium.
