I spied this out from a Facebook friend of mine Barnett Shutman of RVS FishWorld Inc. Thought you would enjoy some photos of this beautiful Cirrhilabrus lanceolatus they collected!

These guys are so deep water any fish collectors don't even touch their population in any significant ways. The main populations are even deeper.

Congratulations on the lucky new owner and to the divers that survived. There have been a couple of notable rebreather accidents that claimed lives recently and at least one of them was a lot more shallow than the dives to capture this fish!

Roseafascias make their ways stateside pretty regularly, aren't nearly as pricey, and terminal phase males look fairly similar.
