The tank is well stocked. The flasher only goes after the pintail. Whenever the pintail goes out to eat it’s chased back into a cave. Should I get rid of the flasher or stick it in the sump?.
Sounds like one would have to be removed. Flasher needs room and a sump isn’t a good place. It will probably jump out at some point. You can catch and hold in sump for awhile and try to reintroduce. Sometimes it works some times it don’t. Without watching your tank it’s hard to say but I’m going to guess it has a good chance of working out.
If you sump flasher temporarily I do recommend trying to cover sump best you can.
Unfortunately there isn’t a written rule. The two wrasse you have should be ok together. Flasher acclimated to tank quicker then pintail and now flasher wants to hold pintail down

I will try reintroducing the flasher in a few days. I am new to the hobby, would fishes with similar looks fight even though they are different species or it’s just territorial?. Since removing the flasher the pintail has started bulling the gobies and blenny
