I picked this up some time back. I have grown like 4 to 5 colonies of it so far. I believe I have the name correct as I got it on WWC's last year.

Does anyone else have it. Does it always grow this way?

I have the same anacropora but not WWC. Its been growing in the Seattle area for about seven years. Yes, it grows the same. It turns more yellow under higher light. Meaning, off the sand bed. :)

Oh ok. Thanks.

I have been growing them all in the sand and not on the rock work as I"m afraid it will spread like a weed in montipora fashion and be hard to control. Doesn't seem like an acrapora to me.

Mine is high in the tank (roughly 350 PAR.) Flow is fairly high. It is nearly yellow and spreads more. Sorry for the poor pic which doesn't show color.

Anyone have trouble with this coral turning brown? I just picked this up, going from T5s to Radion LEDs. Started out nice but has become browner and browner.

90 gallon, 15 gallon sump with fuge, 2 Radion Xr30 Pro Gen 2, GFO and Carbon 24/7, Maxspect Gyre and tunze flow
Stable Salinity - 1.0245, Alk - 9.3, Calc - 450, Mag- 1350, pH - 8.0, Phosphate -.00 to .04 , Nitrates - 12 ppm, (I use NSW too).
It looked very nice for 5 days with great polyp extension. I tried moving it up higher and that's when the problems started.

browning out is usually light or nutrients. I have mine in the sand. Your parms seem all in order, so I don't see anything there. Bring it to sand and see how it does. Where was it before?

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
