I feel the same way! We have so much rock but I feel like once you put something encrusting on it you can't grow anything else. So it's like hmmmmmm do I want to donate a whole rock to just one coral?

I was planning on cycling the rock in the tank I have a butt load of media in my 20 and in my girlfriends flat back hex in our bedroom. We have four tanks now
