You will soon learn to hate them if you let the rock they're on touch other rocks ;)

I have a couple hundred in my tank. If the parameters are in their liking they will spread to anything they can touch. I personally love them. I have one huge rock they have colonized and it is such a cool thing to watch them sway back and forth/pulse. What part of Indiana are you from?

I like them a lot too. I kept mine on the highest rock and they would climb up the glass. I'd just peel them off, never really got out of hand for me. Just don't get lazy, I've seen others with Xenia tanks. Unintensionally, of course.

That sucks to hear. Those babies seem to be really hit and miss. Unfortunately I have heard that story many times. If you are ever in the Fort Wayne area and want to try again I have tons of pink ones.

Mine looked beautiful for a couple of years and then melted away over a couple of weeks. No idea why, no changes that we could detected. I love xenias too. I guess I will have to steal some from my hubbies tank and try again. Hey Trickedout900, we live in Ft. Wayne too, nice to see a fellow reefer here ;)
