So I have had a 12g jbj nano cube going on 3 years years now
But my reef was over growing itself and corals were battling it out, My wife bought me a biocube 29 2 years ago lol but finally got around to setting it up. I had all the nano cube parts upgraded to be able to be used on the Biocube 29. so here is what I have, I am excited to share this journey with everyone.
Tank - Biocube 29 with hood removed
Stand - Old real wood dresser
Lights - Kessil 160 we with goose neck
Return pump - Cobalt Mj900
Power head - Hydor nano 180gpf
Heater - 150w aqueon pro
Heater controller - Inkbird
Media - seachem purigen, carbon, Seachem phosguard, chemi pure nano 2 bags and live rock rubble in rear
FIlter - stripped biocube cartridge and using polishing pad on top and filter floss pad
was thinking of maybe getting a skimmer still on the fence about and setting up a reactor @SKYHIGGh gave me last night soon and most likely a chaeto reactor or algae scruber.
any recommendations are welcome!
