Fellow reefers thank you for all the valuable information I have received from you. But I need to know what is the max depth of the phoneix 150
14K bulb and the 150 20K XM bulb. Trying to deside which bulb to purchase and a what hight my lights have to be. Thanks

It will penatrate to the bottom. You would need a par meter to see how much light you are getting at the bottom and at different levels. Phoenix will be much higher than any 20k bulb.
