Yellow Tang going down hill fast

I have a yellow tang that is going downhill fast. Added a peppermint shrimp to the tank and stressed it out. Started showing HLLE but kept eating. Kept deteriorating so I finally pulled it and put in quarantine. Now has dark spots. So far all I have done is three days of rally. Tang has not ate since being put in quarantine. Looks like it has ich now also. I would like to get it eating before I start copper. Open to any suggestions now. Thanks

It looks like a bacterial infection; let’s call in the doctor @Jay Hemdal for confirmation.
Do you have any antibiotics on hand?

I do not have any antibiotics on hand but hopefully can get some tomorrow.

You could have multiple issues going on with this fish. Be sure to monitor the ammonia levels while it is in the QT. It could be fungal, but those are rather rare in marine fish, more likely it is bacterial. However, if you are also seeing ich spots (I can't tell from the photos) that means there are two things that need to be treated for, and that is always a dicey thing to try and do.

If you are certain of your ich diagnosis, you'll need to start a copper treatment, I know Rally is supposed to cure ich, but it doesn't always work. Then, the bigger spots could be fungal/bacterial or a mixture of both. I'd opt for the bacteria and treat with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic such as Kanaplex.

I have to say though, the prognosis is not good at all given the fish's condition.....

Don't forget that seeing a fish vet might be an option depending on location. Some places you can go to urgent care 24/7 with your fish. Others, there's no options for hundreds of miles.

I've had fish tube fed and given injectable antibiotics by vets and pull through.

Thanks for the replies. I tried to keep it in the display for as long as possible because it was still eating in there. We weren’t progressing with nori and selcon. I was not able to catch the peppermint shrimp that it was constantly fighting with. I pulled the tang on Wednesday night and it hasn’t ate anything since it has been in there. I did a 50 percent water change today on the qt.
