Hi

Just got him about 4 days ago. Was all over the place the day he was put in tank. Now I know they like to go into the substrate, but how do I know he is ok since I am not able to find him?

Thanks

I just went thru this with a Wrasse. Your best bet is to be patient. If he was ok the last time you saw him he's probably made a cave under some rockwork. It took 7 days before I saw my new wrasse lol

How big is your tank?

I did not see mine for a good 3 months at some point. I do see him everyday now but I presumed he was dead until I saw him randomly appear one day.

Give him a pistol shrimp buddy.

If ok, will show interest in food, respond to you presence at tank and come out and explore when you are far back from tank
