SCIENTIFIC NAME - Parupeneus cyclostomus

COMMON NAME - Yellowsaddle Goatfish (Yellow Goatfish)

SIZE - 20" (50 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 135 US Gal. ( 511 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Frequent feeding, meaty foods, fresh and frozen seafood's, live Grass Shrimp, frozen prepared foods. Feed min. 4 times a day for juveniles.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat worms and crustaceans, and small fish.

CAPTIVE CARE - Provide plenty of swimming room, plenty of hiding places. Does not stir sand bed, house with non aggressive tank mates, most are infected with intestinal worms and need to be treated for such when 1st purchased. Juveniles have a high metabolism and must be given frequent feedings, if weight loss is observed they are being underfeed. Feed adults min. 2 times a day.
