I'm waiting on my light fixture from Aquatic Life (since black friday) to upgrade my lights. I think the hybrid system is the way to go.

Really and when I get the 52 I want to turn them long ways not how you have them can I do that ?

Yes, but if your tank is 36" long two of the 52's might be over kill. I'll be turning mine horizontal when I get the new light fixture in..

I'm running 2 52's on my 84 gallon; set up horizontal with the tank. Definitely not running at full capacity.
