So I'm considering a zebra eel for my new build. I have had snow flake eels and even a tesselata after the last eel i said never again. Until I found out about the zebra eel.

So is what I read true, it's quiet a peaceful eel and will leave other fish alone?

Mine has been a model citizen; even at 36". Took a while to get it to eat (only eats shrimp) and it never appears during the day; otherwise a good fish.

Most passive of the commonly available eels imo. Mine was about 4' and would only eat krill-- lots of vitamin soaks.
