Zer0salinity’s Red Sea Max-S500 with AI Hydra LEDs

I’ve had this tank setup for about two years now. I have gotten rid of the power center and modified it to accept the Apex system. I have ApexDOS for dosing, 2 ecotech mp40s, reef octopus classic 202-s skimmer, 4 AI hydra LEDs (procured an additional unit) for more light to keep SPS and clams, a two little fishes phosban reactor, a Kessler A80 Refugium light. I have BRS pukani rocks and Caribsea sand.

Hey,
I am planning to restart this system as you can see I sort of rushed it. The key thing is to have a quarantine tank! You see all the vermatid snails? I am in the process of curing pukanis rocks now and have been into it for a month now and will be implemented in April of 2018. We shall see how it goes. But i plan to remove the corals, and place everything into a quarantine aquarium which is of smaller volume while I go through and clean out the red sea max s500.
