Im getting ready to start selling corals online and was wondering can you use ziploc bags to ship corals in?
Still tie the top with a rubber band, twist tie, etc. but just use a ziploc bag instead?

ditto. ziploc bags still have holes and they're soft as heck. LFS fish bags made for shipping for sure. and double up on them.

Go on ebay and search for "specimen cups" I have shipped in those, with a ziplock bag around the specimen container. I got 25 of them for around $6 shipped IIRC.

frag swaps/local pick ups yes, shipping heck no....I would do some test runs and deliver a few to yourself and see how it turns out if you are curious.

go to superiorshippingsuplies.com

they got this long tube small bag approx 3" by 12 inches , perfect for frags , you can just tie the bags, then flip it upside down and double bag it .
cheap ,easy ,safe space as well..they got small ice packs, heat packs, shipping boxes as well.
