Zoa mysterious growth

My zoas only grow in cracks in the rocks, whereas my palys are going crazy. Is it too much flow or light? Or do I have a zoa nipper in the tank? I’ve never seen any of my fish nip at them, but I do have a couple aptasia eating filefish AND a couple Pygmy angelfish... Any ideas/recommendations?

Ps I have other zoas that I didn’t take pics of and they all grow like that and they are all in the same corner with the palys.

My flame angel does the same thing. He leaves palys alone but munches any zoa.
