I'm not big into zoas, but thought it would be nice to have a few so I picked up 3 little frag plugs of them at a show a year ago. For quite a while they grew into kind of a nice 3-lobed garden where each type had carved out it's own little territory. However, lately they have gotten pretty unkept looking. Things seemed to get out of hand when the yumas started encroaching.

I don't run a highly manicured tank so I'm not worried about everyone staying in their place. However, the situation seems to be devolving so I' thought I'd ask to see what y'all would do. Just let it ride? Should I give the zoas a haircut? Pull back the yuma?

I don't even know what "kind" these guys are. I know you can't say for certain, but are any of these particularly concerning with regards to palytoxin?

doesn't look bad to me. if it does cause some concern to you, you can definitely frag it down to where you feel comfortable and pay it forward the the newly fragged zoa's to local hobbyists! the ones closer to the duncan are reaching for light, so if i did clean this area up, i would start there.
