I believe they are doing that cause they are reaching for more light

could be, also could be high nitrates. 25 is quite high for a reef tank. even with "dirtier tanks" you really only want to max out at like 10.
My frag tank got up to 25 last night and Im seeing the same as what you are. water changes galore tonight :(

Water change 10% first,,No3 can be alittle lower (my likings) aound 15,, ,,,see what you No3 is after the water change,,as your siphoning water out with a hose go after cleaning detrius in the tank and sump,,that will help your NO3 issue too..increase flow,, zoas/palys need far more flow than you think,,Test for Iodine/iodide,,see what your levels are first then dose if needed,,1/2 dose what is recommended to get to NSW levels,,use Iodide to dose NOT Iodine,, Put new carbon in the reactor,,if you dont have a reactor,,get one..
Leave adjusting lights til last,,thats the easiest thing to change....dont touch lights til you access the above results,,usually its not a lighting issue..
Skimmer on this system ???
How often and how long do you run it??
how much do you feed a day,,how much ,,what for ??

They look like palythoa , but I may be wrong , I think they might need to be moved around a bit to a different location for them to get better

That's not reaching for more light, that's called umbrella syndrome and unfortunately there isn't a cure that I know of. Start by reducing your nitrates and keep everything as stable as you can. The ones that are really stretching their mouth up will most likely die but to prevent this from happening to all of them I would try and reduce your nitrates.

Mine umbrella every once in a while and pop out babies like it's their job, so take it for what you will.

Mine did this a few weeks ago. I changed locations and increased lighting over the course of a few days. They are back to normal now
