Check alkalinity & phosphates

Alk is 8.3
Phosphates are .05

I think December all got up to 9 and phosphates got up to .14.
Is this the effects from that long ago? I also lost a SPS colony. I wish I could show pics.

So I have a 90 gallon.
I used to run chemi pure elite to keep phosphates down and water clear. Stopped that about 1.5 months ago. Now I am currently running GFO only to keep phosphates in check.

Calcium is 455
Nitrates are 6-7

20%water changes every two weeks.
Change my socks often. I can only think of December. I had neighbors feed. I cut the portions out for them. No clue.

I adjusted power heads a little, flow did change.

I am going to leave everything where it is, the more feed back I am getting the more I am realizing the lack of consistency I have with my water flow, and phosphate swings.
I think if I monitor the phosphates with GFO and no chemi pure I will head back on course.

I have one SPS colony that is slowly dying from the bottom up, probably due to lack of consistency and parameters

I don't if it is flow changed ,there is one older established colony in my tank that is half closed and I changed flow in that tank and it's seems the flow is the culprit .
It's starting to open again after a week but not wide open and happy yet .
