Talked to the vendor and told him I wasn't happy about the zoas. He kept saying to give them time to color up and that the my lighting might be alot different than his.. long story short, I got store credit lol
Well, at least he gave you that.

I would change your Purple Plus for another Coral Plus or an Aquablue special.
If you want really blue you can change the purple for a Blue Plus.
Either of these bulbs will be much better for your system then a Purple plus health wise.
I like the Aquablue special very much. It has some purple in it too.
BUT... if you really, really, really like the purple bulb you can still leave it as is.
It's just that with a 4 bulb fixture I wouldn't recommend a Purple bulb.
You could choose one of the 3 combos below:
-------Front-------
Coral+ Coral+ Blue+
Blue+ Blue+ Coral+
Coral+ Aquablue special Blue+
Blue + Blue+ Blue+
-------Back-------

Aquablue Special has some green and a bit of purple (blue and red). So more green than Coral Plus...
But Coral Plus has about 10% of purple too, and also some of the Blue Plus and the Aquablue Special in it.
When Coral Plus gets older it shows lots of pinkish/purple.

The other thing no one has really mentioned is where the zoas are placed in the tank. I've had some Eagle Eyes that wouldn't really open up well until I placed them all the way on the bottom of my tank. So you might try moving them up or down and see if that helps some.

I actually have moved them around a little. I moved them off of the rock and they are how on the sand bed, going to give em a few more days down there and see what they look like.

Surely the Purple is the one that promotes less growth of all of the bulbs listed!
Any of the ones I've suggested will give you better growth than the purple.
Just pick one of them and enjoy.
Here are 2 videos so you can have some visual comparison:

I ordered these zoas off of the Internet a about a week ago and they haven't opened up more the half way, if tht much. They are supposed to be fire and ice but they just look drab in color and definitely not like the pic shows. Not sure if there's something wrong with them or they're just taking their time to acclimate and get color back. Here is what the mother colony looks like...

And this is what my couple little frags look like...

its stress & before u glue it find the proper spot on it..
