zoas sensitive to light

all of a sudden my zoas of many years are now sensitive to my lighting...nothing has changed..now they stay closed when all the lights come on..when the blues are on they seem fine...i tried just blues for awhile but they seem deflated then so i put on whites on only at not even 20 %..not sure what would cause this.... any ideas.....alk 8.5...mag 1440....cal 440....salinity 1.026......

What are your nitrates at? Also any changes in flow, have you started using carbon media anything like that?

flow has been the same ..always run carbon ..all softies tank....nitrates are low...always been too...
