I got 4 zoanthid frags a little under a week ago, and I noticed two of them seem to be shedding a thin layer of skin, one seems to be unbothered by this, but the other is being strangled and is not opening up. I’ve never experienced this before, any tips for fixing this problem. I’ll post some pics soon.

Very normal! Not sure why they do it, but I noticed the zoas that I buy that shrink in size do this. Higher light will cause zoas to have smaller heads and it's possible it's shedding extra "skin". That's just my hunch though, all my zoas that have done that have been fine.
