Any tips on how to maintain a 5g nano/pico tank? these were my parameters before I did a gallon water change and before the water change I added ion balance to raise my ph. Zoas won’t open :( only thing in the tank.

Assuming the results are correct, High MG, low PH, no nutrients = not happy.
What’s your lighting for 5G.
Hard to keep small waters stable.

welcome

tell us about your system (equipment, especially flow and lighting)

zoas like some nitrate and phosphate
alk looks too high, are you supplementing it?
not familiar with that testing device or how accurate it is

I’m currently using a Fluval nano desktop light as well as a tiny usb wave maker the flow isn’t too strong but not too light either, I added some ion balance and now have my ph at 7.8 these are my new test results any advice?

No nitrate, no phosphate, a must for every living creature.
Corals will starve, shrink and disappear.

Nitrate should be in the 5-15ppm range and phosphate in the 0.05-.15ppm range and stable, neither rising or falling, week to week.
