Hello folks , I am about 2 1/2 months into my new addiction,, a saltwater tank . I first purchased a Biocube 16 LED and as of now I have had great success with the cycling and growth of the various corals I introduced to the cube. My LFS had a 3 day sale on the Biocubes and I just had to get a Biocube LED 32. I was very fortunate to know a friend of our family who had a 110 gallon reef tank setup at the high school he teaches at. He recently decided to shut that tank down the same weekend I purchased my new Biocube 32. So I purchased approximately 25-28 lbs of 20 year old established live rock . The rock is covered in yellow sponge and coralline. He also sold me a yellow tailed damsel and a Flame angle (Centropyge loriculus) & Kole tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus). I am very new to this amazing hobby so I was thrilled to be so lucky in getting these fish and rock. So this past Sunday I set up the Biocube added the fish and a few corals from the Biocube 16. I have a long way to go and welcome any advise and view points as I establish this Biocube. So here are some pictures showing the progression of the Biocube.
