Okay, so I was reading on the Yellow Head Jawfish and I saw a thread on “Newly discovered jawfish” from a while back (Whenever the Brazilian dusky jawfish was discovered) and I came across O. aff aurifons which is called the Blueline Jawfish, what’s the difference between this and the common yellow head other than location? I love both and have owned a Yellow head in the past but the blue line has some VERY nice body patterns.

I don't have any advice other than I often see bluelines at my LFS. They are beautiful fish.

Do they have the nice iridescence of the common yellow head’s anal and dorsal fins?

Hey there can you send some photos? Would love to see and compare. Jawfish are pretty but I’m not a fan of deep sand beds. :(
Yeah here, The top is our well known yellow head from LA and the bottom is the BlueBar photo from reef builders
