I am thinking about setting up the same 10ft tank. Does anyone know the water volume, and how best to cover the holes in the bottom? The tank is a curved bowl shape so the online calculators don't really help. Also I'd be interested in hearing about the typical evaporation rate. Thanks.

Awesome. Can you give us a run down of the setup since the restart. I am looking to do something similar and could use some guidance on the system build.
