Thank you. I like that idea of a skirt for a top. I'm wondering how hard it will be to get in the tank with a skirt though since I made the stand so tall. Just found some tanks online that have canopy skirts they look good! I guess I will have to get the tank on the stand and see what kind of room I'm going to have.

You can include doors to the front of the skirt canopy for access.

Today is the big day!!! 6 hrs till go time I can't hardly wait!! Hope all goes well got 6 big guys and some suction cups to help move this big girl around. I screwed 2x4 to the stairs so once we are in the stairwell we can hopefully just slide it down to the next landing, rotate it and slide it down the last 5 steps to the basement. Wish me luck!!

Here's a build I did at work, showing pendant lights with skirt. I used a base cap to trim around the top. This used to be a full hood. I took off the lid.

Big shout out to all my Boys T Roy, Jerome, Josh, Brian, Will & parents!!! Everything went good, smooth sailing all the way to the basement lol. Alright it was rough but we made.it without any incidents. Had 1 minor problem, had to remove one piece of trim to fit the tank on the stand. The tank trim bows out in the center a Lil because of all the silicone they used to hold it on. Pretty minor fix.

FONT=Comic Sans MS]Great job and build story so far, will most definitely be tagging along on this one. Since you are obviously handy in the shop, take a look at my 3-sided slide on canopy in my build thread linked in my signature. Took me 2years to finally get started as kept changing the construction plans but very happy with final version. Looking forward to seeing it wet.

Cheers, Todd
