It was nice as well nice colour
Something has eaten it what else is in your tank that could eat it.

The biggest fish I have is a chocolate tang. I have mostly tangs, a fox face and one bi-color, angel and clowns. Fish also have a yellow tail damsel that's very small and a six line rats. That's very small. I have are hellfire torch, Duncans, a frag of zoas left because something ate them, and some mushrooms that are all frags.

Original video worked for me. Must be an Apple thing lol j/k

Anyways the reason I'd never have one of them in my tank. Years ago I drove from Toronto to Winnipeg in a semi with a silver dollar sized yellow tang and he survived the trip but the nem got ahold of him and had a late night snack.

Ripped apart.
Nem can’t do that.
Someone quite unhappy.
I wish I had a video camera on my tank. I've thought about putting something like a Ring camera on it. I could rewind and see exactly what happened.

Good news! We found the serpent starfish alive under a rock with just 2 arms (the other three were amputated). I am thinking now it might have been a hermit crab I forgot about in the tank. From the crime scene photo above, I assumed it was the anemone since it was closed up and I couldn't find the starfish. The starfish was hidden until this afternoon when we discovered it.
I was getting ready to evict the anemone, but looks like I might need to evict the crab..
My question now is will the starfish arms grow back fully?

It's probably a dying serpent star. That's how mine died starved to death
I went to bed last night wondering if it didn't get caught in the fan propeller. Is there something I can do to help him recover?

it WAS the propeller! I found another leg inside the fan!!! I read they can grow a whole new body
from a leg. Does that mean I could get 3 more serpent starfish from their legs??

You would have to do a search, but if memory serves ‘new’ stars will only grow from legs that include a piece of the central disc.

That makes sense. We shall see... I am surprised none of my fish have eaten the "spare parts."
