Thanks it's the only coral I have left from reefer madness(original). Was the size of a quater when I first got it.

Man I never seen one before. It's really cool.

Thanks, it looks even better when the polyps are out. They used to be out all the time but since switching to leds they only come out at night.

I'm pretty sure this came from Reefer Madness back in the day too. This is Astreopora scabra. This is the only color I've ever seen them in, which probably limits how collectible they are.

I'm pretty sure this came from Reefer Madness back in the day too. This is Astreopora scabra. This is the only color I've ever seen them in, which probably limits how collectible they are.

What color is the body of it? Hard to tell with the polyps out. What color are the polyps?

The body is a rusty red, polyps are very similar in color with a very slight greenish tint on the oral disc.

I can't find them anywhere. My local lfs has one that's sweet. Green with purple flower like polyps.

WhenI first got mine it was mostly green with a little purple around the edges and a small red spot and the polyps were purple with white streaks in them.

I beleive mine is astreopora myriopthalma not really 100% sure.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
