Yesterday noticed white patches appearing on 3 of 3 Bimaculatus Anthias.
These fish arrived in very healthy condition in March. Went through 45 days of medicated QT.
They have been in my main display for 4 months, very active, healthy and beautiful fish. They are fed 6 times a day.
It looks like their skin is peeling off. No open sores, just white and flaky.

Anyone ID this? How do I treat this?

Looks to me bacterial, and since it has spread to all 3 Bimaculatus Anthias, I believe it to be contagious.

I was thinking of setting up my hospital tank tonight and moving these 3 over and beginning treatment with Kanaplex & Metroplex.

The only notable event in the last 5 days is my elegance coral was sucked into a powerhead. I ran carbon and did a water change after the elegance incident. Most of the SPS instantly bleached and died off after this. Could this be causing a reaction with the fish too?

Did you ever sort this out? I just put one in my display and it's exhibiting the same symptoms, white spot on forehead.
