More like the microwave method is also a form of blanching. Blanching is a short dip in a rolling boil, immediately followed by an ice bath.

I might try this.. I have a hatchery. Still hiding.. doesn’t look like his stomach bloated but honestly it’s hard to get a good look. I don’t see any other visible sign of disease.
