Blowing sandbed with cyano

If I'm going the natural way too defeat cyano is it ok too blow the sanbed or just the rocks anyone please?

I have. Better if then flow adjusted where cyano grew. Although at some point if it gets out of control that no longer mattered. Hydrogen peroxide seems to do the trick for me.
