The fact that EcoTech Marine has thought of, and implemented, a fail safe option to cover potential power outages, really solidifies them as the premier manufacturer of water movement products for our hobby (in my personal opinion).

With that being said, I can say that this is being improved upon as we speak. Voltage draw does seem to be forefront of the Vectra/Battery Backup "issue". But rest assured, a more efficient solution is on the near horizon. [emoji6]
