Will be finding out exactly what I'm doing tomorrow, but as it looks now a replacement 120 is going to cost $280, or for about the same price I could go with a Deep blue Rimless 80

Unfortunately, if it isn't on a commercially manufactured stand it voids Marineland's warranty (Also you need to register within 10 days of purchase)

I just picked up a Marineland 120 myself. Here's hoping it doesn't blow up.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear this. Glad you have a relationship with the rep. The rep in my area has been very helpful in the past, hopeful yours will be. Good luck

Its on a commercial stand but Unfortunately I did drill it which voids the warranty, but none the less going to see what they can do since the front pane is what crack and should be completely unaffected by the drilling. Even a discount at this point is helpfull.

Sorry this happened, and hope you can get it all hinges again.

But Marineland is one of ghetto cheapest tank builders along with Fujimoto.tanks. That's why they are prices lower ...

So sorry to see this. In 2010, the bottom seal ruptured on our first Marineland 300dd.

Were you guys able to get any warranty on it or anything?

The LFS where we purchased the tank and custom stand and who installed them dealt with Marineland (Perfecto) directly to get us a custom replacement tank. Without getting into the details, we waited nearly 7 months for the replacement. Whether it was replaced under "warranty" or the LFS incurred the cost, we don't know. There were (3) Marineland tanks (including ours) that popped the bottom seal in our area within a short time frame (one less than two weeks before ours). Both of those tanks were replaced under warranty.

Although the tank wasn't able to qualify for warranty, I was able to get a hefty discount and should be receiving it tomorrow on our truck. Fingers crossed this one works out.

The tank was a month old, but drilling it voids the warrant. I explained that it was the front pane that cracked, stand was a manufactured and that there was no way a rock fell or anything onto the glass so it must of been a tank failure.
