As you can see in the pic, there's GHA growing on the ouside tubes of my Christmas tree worms. And the hair algae is covered with cyano.
Any ideas how to permanently get rid of it without using chemicals? This is literally the only spot in the whole tank where I can find (visible) hair algae and cyanos, so I don't want to nuke my biology.
I tried a tooth brush which didn't do anything and 12% peroxide spot treatment ouside of the water. Peroxide worked but it also damaged a tiny bit of the coral and after 2-3 weeks the hair algae was back. After another week the cyanos.
I guess snails don't like to crawl over corals so they won't reach this spot.
