Or you just put the live rock and let whatever is in the rock dare battle your predators? Just curious cuz I read many people worry about what is in their rock, that even a small crab can destroy some corals.

Yup, the predators vs live rock hitchhickers is more of a concern for corals than for fish, although you might get a fish louse or ich on live rock that could be harmful to fishes. Most fishes are going to eat hitchhikers before hitchhikers eat the coral, and if you have no coral the worry is probably not that great. If the tank is set up with rock and the fishes added after 76 days (or whatever the fallow period is for fish pests) then I think the worries are almost zero.Or you just put the live rock and let whatever is in the rock dare battle your predators?
